It takes 8 sessions, on an average, to review all the math formulas/ equations/terminology, and to get familiar with the strategies/techniques/logical shortcuts to crack questions on these standardized tests. Students, while getting familiar with strategies, start doing drills simultaneously. Receiving knowledge and then applying knowledge at the same time helps students a lot in enhancing their test taking skills.
Group sessions are very effective. Students experience a very healthy competition in group sessions which help them enhance their scores on standardized tests. Students learn faster in a group from positive and negative feedback. Students learn by discussing and reasoning each other’s opinion and develop useful perspectives of how they can go about solving problems.
Students take one evaluation test in the beginning, in case they didn’t take these tests in school. The performance of the students in the evaluation test gives a tentative baseline of the students, accordingly I plan my methodology to help the students as best as possible. Students take one mock practice exam after 7 sessions so the last session is around 3 to 4 hours.
